In the Creation category, books compete whose authors present a personal work where the conceptual and narrative approach prevails. Bibliophilia highlights books for their original edition, whether for their special interest, beauty, and/or rarity of format and material of the publication. First Publication is the category where artists launching a book authored by them for the first time compete. Authors and publishers of all nationalities who published photography books between March 1, 2023, and March 1, 2024, are eligible to participate. Once the online registration is completed, the received form must be printed and sent, along with two copies of each publication in the competition, to the following address: Prize for the Best Photography Book of the Year C/ Verónica, 13 28014 Madrid Spain. Those not selected can be collected from the PHotoESPAÑA offices starting from the communication of the preselected books until May 13, 2024. Once this deadline has passed, the publications will be sent to libraries and cultural centers, where they will become part of their collections.
