All award winners will receive an NYC4PA award certificate, be included on the NYC4PA Online Gallery and in the 2023 SAME BUT DIFFERENT catalog. Cash award winners will receive $3,000 in prizes, the Grand Prize winning image will be posted on the NYC4PA home page and, and Winners and Juror’s Selections will be invited to participate in a gallery show, in April 2023 at the JADITE GALLERY in the exciting Hell’s Kitchen area in Manhattan

 SAME BUT DIFFERENT:

For this call NYC4PA is challenging photographers to pair two photographs and submit them in diptych format (both images in one file). The images in each file will be “almost” the same but different enough to make each unique. You may have two versions of an image that you processed differently, or the same scene shot at different times of day. Have you taken two portraits of the same person

with a feature or features that distinguish the images. The possibilities are endless and the room for interpretation and creativity equally vast.

This call is a little different and one we hope you have fun with when selecting your submissions.

Using the diptych format, send us your pairs of images – two images that are THE SAME BUT DIFFERENT. As with all calls, all 2D photographic art is accepted.

There will be 10 cash prizewinners, 20 Juror Selections and 20 Honorable Mentions
