Soho Photo GallerySoho Photo Gallery is a cooperative gallery founded 50 years ago by photographers for photographers. As part of our 50th Anniversary we are organizing a competition and exhibition for young photographers ages 13 to 30. There are no restrictions on subject matter or medium. Let your creativity flourish!
Our jurors are interns at Soho Photo Gallery: young local photography students. It is they who conceived the competition in the first place, and it is they who will select the winning entries.
Entrants must be between the ages of 13 to 30 and reside in New York State, New Jersey or Connecticut. Those photographers under 18 years old must have their parents enter the images on CaFE for them and confirm that they are the parent or legal guardian.
Winners will be exhibited in our gallery and on our website December 14, 2022 to January 8, 2023. There will be an opening reception with a panel discussion among the exhibiting photographers on Saturday, December 17 from 1 to 6pm.
