Photography Contest

The Forgotten, people, places and belongings that once mattered, now unremembered, out of mind, left behind. Items once significant to someone, personal items, buildings, object, person, a place that once had the importance to another, the possibilities are all around us. Our juror for Forgotten is Alexa Dilworth. Dilworth is publishing director and senior editor at the Center for Documentary Studies (CDS) at Duke University, where she also directs the awards program, which includes the Dorothea Lange–Paul Taylor Prize. 35-40 Selected images will hang in the SE Center’s main gallery space for approximately one month with the opportunity to be invited for a solo show at a later date. In addition, selected images are featured in the SE Center social media accounts (FB, IG, Twitter) and an archived, online slide show. A video walkthrough of each exhibition is also featured and archived.
